Small Groups

LIFE IS BETTER TOGETHER!

No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, we think its important to travel with others.  That’s why we have Small Groups.  Our vision is that group members will connect to each other in a casual setting, grow as a follower of Jesus and explore ways they can help serve the community.

“Since joining a Small Group, I have been able to connect with others through our faith and make meaningful friendships and relationships with others in the same walks of life as myself.  I look forward to getting together with my small group each time to learn about one another and how we can continue to encourage and grow our faith practices together.”

Groups are made up of 6-10 people who meet for 60-90 minutes 2 times a month.  Each Small Group has a leader who works with the group to set their own schedule, time and location. Some groups meet in homes, some meet at the church, some meet virtually and others find a location of their choosing.   Groups use a sermon-based discussion guide to go deeper and explore how the Bible connects to their lives.

A Small Group is made up of people who share something in common.  This could be a hobby, a stage in life or a common interest.  Examples of current groups include:  women’s group, men’s group, couples’ group,  retired couples’ group, college age group.

We offer a FALL (September 15-December 15), WINTER (January 5-March 14) and SPRING (March 29-June 6) session.  Each session runs about ten weeks. The sessions provide natural “on and off ramps” for people.  This is when new groups form, existing groups open to new people and when changes to groups are made.  The sessions allow enough time to help people get to know one another better.  They also help participants know the length of time they are being asked to invest.
